Mystery Diesease Returns, Help NEEDED!!!

Dude, you guys are way too much!!! You all are too nice.

Of course, you say this NOW, but just watch how many expensive fish I can stuff into a 10 gal, Jinkz. :D

Yeah but she won't part with her endli... or Captain Crankypants, lol.

hahaha, bring it girly! Lets see how big of a non-existant bill you can wrack up, lmao

Hmmmm, well, I bet I could pancake in a bunch of discus, they ARE pretty thin. Coil up a gar on the bottom. Stuff the spaces with shrimp and micro crabs......that sounds like a good stock to me!!

I would like to see Anna fit either one of those into a 10 gal tank.

Sounds like she might be able to squeeze them in there with all the others, lol. Her tank's gonna look like a wiggling, writhing, tin of sardines.

heh, the gar and endlis are longer than a 10g tank so they are out anyway, lmao

microcrabs are up for grabs though, lmao

Well, it's the update none of us wanted to hear, *sigh*.

Before I went to bed last night, I did one more tank check, and the two that had been on their sides were dead, no surprise. I pulled them out, and put them in a cup of water to save for photos and freezing in the morning.
Woke up this morning, planning on doing a WC and treating with malachite green again. This time I WAS surprised to find my two remaining gudgeons dead. They were doing very well yesterday, but perhaps the organism had simply done too much damage.
So, the tank is empty now.
I just need a little more help, to clean up the remainder of this mess.
I plan to empty the tank, and clean it with a bleach/water solution, then let dry for several days. I don't think anything should survive that.
What should I do with the sponge filters? I suppose I have to nuke them with something. Bleach solution? Or, will they be fine if I just dry them out completely?
I assume I'll want to clean or chuck all decorations. I'll throw away the pvc tubes and gravel. Only a couple of plants, so I'll just chuck them.
I also have the HOB. Should I chuck the media? Rinse the whole unit with bleach solution? Just let it all dry out?

I also have some additional images.

First the two that dies last night.

And the whole group.

I wonder if I could just raise the salt concentration super high, and run the tank a few days like that.
Then again, maybe it would just be best to empty the whole dang thing.
Any suggestions?
