As for an update on THIS fry, its taking microfoods well and doing just fine in the little mesh basket. Swap out the floaters couple times a day to replenish any living critters on them from the main tank.

He is too small to put in with my emperor tetra fry, they'd eat him i think at this stage.

Well, I'm pretty sure it's not a cichlid. ? Seriously, it'll be fun to watch what it becomes.
