I opened them all up and no baby snails fell out. Does that mean they are all duds?

Was it just slime that came out?

It would be my guess they are unfertilized. It happens to the best of us I didn't think I would ever get them to hatch and now I am now trading them for credit at my LFS. Keep trying you will get the hang of it

They also could have dried out and the babies were unable to develop. Sorry to hear it!

I dont think they dried out, but you never know. Now I wish I didn't spend $20 on them though.

$20. it would of been cheaper to buy a few snails and breed them yourself mate.
