I have what appears to be a group of mystery snail eggs in my aquarium but I'm not sure. I do have 3 mystery snails (gold, black, blue) along with 2 zebra danios, 1 male betta, 2 otos. Everything that I have read has said that these snails lay their eggs above the waterline, but these are on the subtrate by their cave so I'm not sure if these are eggs or not. If they are eggs, is it ok that they are at the bottom or should I take them out?

Are they pink/salmon colored? Is the clump flat on one side? Could be they were laid on the tank cover or on the glass above the water line, then came loose, fell in, and sank.

In my experience they will not hatch. Having said that, I had ONE golden mystery snail manage to hatch below water, so it's better to remove the eggs (or feed them to snail-eaters) if you don't want them to hatch.

If you do want them to hatch, I suppose you could try moving them to a dry spot.
