Hey! Its 1230 am here! LOL
Personally I think its way to small for a real grow-out. It could be a transition tank. I used a 29g tank for my growout and it was really overstocked once they hit pea-sizedd. I had to do daily wc's of greater than 50% in a heavily planted tank to keep the parameters stable. I also noticed that the shell quality deteriorated when they hit that size and there were higher instances of fissures with that quantity of snails. If you decide to try it, be prepared for HUGE daily waterchanges. I would leave it bare bottom but planted if possible. The bare bottom will help with keeping your water quality high but the plants will help absord the excess nutrients in the water column. Also, baby snails get tired easily when searchign for food, so this tank should be well established in order to use as a grow=out interim tank. I typically leave babies in a breeder trap until just under pea-sized. I really would get a minimum of a 29g ideally larger if you are planning on growing out 2 clutches (In my experience, that could be 300-400 snails!). Good luck, they really are worth the effort.
