Mystery Snail Only Tank

Ok. So thats what I'll do today and tomorrow (no school yay!). Thanks everyone for all your help. Jinkz I don't no what I would do without you =)

Today I got a 35 gallon tank off of craigslist. Picking it up tomorrow. Can't wait! How many snails can I put in a 35g. (Again I don't want to overstock.)

Complete fish tank set, pump, decorations, rocks and 2 fish.

10-12 adults, or you could go with like 4 or 5 breeders and have some room for growout of the inevitable clutches ;)

CONGRATS!

Snails Produce Quiet Fast So Like The expert says that seems fine for a while :)

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I was just wondering what the difference is between a transition tank and a grow out tank is for snails. Can't the clutches just be left in the same tank they were conceived in after I help them hatch as set out in the sticky thread at the top? By the way, I am new to snails, so I have no clue.

Also, what exactly is a breeder snail? Is that just a large mystery snail that is of breeding size? Is there something that I should look at specifically to determine if a specific mystery snail is a breeder snail?
