Hi, are mystic snails hermaphrodite's?

If you mean MYSTERY snail, most species aren't. Mystery snail, along with the term Apple snail are just common names people call the snails. Like I said before, most aren't. If you can post a photo, I can try to help you identify the species and tell you for sure.

i dont know what kind of snail i have, but i only had one hitchhiker on a plant, and now i've got thousands.

argh.

but of course its my SA planted tank, so they have plenty to eat.
the good news is i dont have an algae problem. lol.

Mystery Snail is only one species - Pomacea Bridgesii, which have separate sexes.

You probably have pond snails, which are hermaphroditic and can self-fertilize.

Thats a pond snail if its small. They lay their egg clutches in clear stuff. The eggs are white dots. If you have a sexually mature snail, you may have eggs everywhere.
