Mythbuster Potential

Quick question...how do tanks break when you're using it as a transport tank? To my knowledge, when a tank is set on a flat surface, the glass isn't placed directly on that surface anyway. The plastic edges keep the bottom of the tank suspended right? Correct me if I'm wrong. Also, I use those submergable heaters that come with suction cups, sometimes those suction cups lose its suction, so I need to press it against the glass, then slide it up and down to get all teh air out of it, then press a litle harder again to make it stick. I place the heaters toward the very edges of the glass, how much damage would that cause?

I've never heard of a clown loach called a tank buster before lol...that's a new one.

There are big fish that can break aquariums though.
(freaked out red tailed cats, pacus...basically fish that are too big for the tank)

Only the big ones. When they get spooked can hit the glass hard enough to break it.

I havent ever seen a clown run into glass, usually clowns are a more intelligint fish for the most part, but any fish that gets 10" or more can have the potential. When I had Bala Sharks, they would frequently run into the glass.

As for the myth busters, I am sure they arent going to be using live fish and scaring them into cracking thier head through glass. But I suppose they could do it without torchering animals if you get the weight of the fish and how fast it can move, they could setup a model or something and simulate the fish.
