We have a "flea market" close by with a small but very well stocked LFS run by a charming and very knowledgeable Indian man. I found the background there quite by accident and ended up buying the driftwood and tank from him as well. If i remember correctly it cost around $3.00 a metre (+/- 3') and it's tall enough to fit a 55G.

He should have plenty of stock but the only "problem" is we're in a small town in the middle of South Africa! Getting it shipped to you would be quite expensive!

Most of his wares are imported from Asian countries. Perhaps he can help by pointing out a distributor closer to you or shipping it directly - I can call him in the morning and ask if you like.

I have just added some more plants and rocks to the tank so I'll be updating the pics real soon too...

A couple more plants, some rocks, extra lighting, a DIY CO2 system and a bit of remodelling... looking better?

Stuck the background on using baby oil (A million and 1 uses...) and it keeps on bubbling. Any hints on how I can keep it bubble free?
