DS: I plan to have anpther eel or 2 but not sure which ones yet plus there are other fish i want to buy first. What other eels do you have

apart from my zebra, i got a snowflake moray ( highly recomend!!! ) and a peppered moray, ( i used to have a girdled moray in there as well, but he started to get too aggressive) and i have fish in with them, and its no problem, i got damsels in there at the moment, but i have had a lion fish in there too, as long as they aint too small the eels will leave them alone

a lion fish is next on the list, its not really unagi that i have to worry about but the coral cod he has already nailed 5 mollies, 3 chromies, a moon wrasse and killed a pixie hawk fish that it didn't eat. I have just put an estuary catfish in and the 3 seem to get along fine

If you're looking for another eel, go for a snowflake. They aren't aggressive, and won't put as much bioload strain on the tank as a zebra would.

its funny that my zebra is the total opposite to that, he doesnt attack anything but crabs, the fish can brush up against him and he doesnt even care, when i had a sick fish in there, he sat with the fish the whole time and wouldnt let anything else in the tank go near it, even after it died, he sat with it till i got home and removed it, same as when my snowflake was sick, he did the same thing till he got better, he is so placid that when i moved the tank last, he was more interested in what i was doing than what was going on with the tank...... the same cannot be said about the other eels in there :P

I love the eel, he looks health good job.

try a peppered moray then! the girdled moray looks more aggressive than the peppered, or if you wanna spend the big money, get a honeycomb moray, they are a beautiful eel, but they are expensive in australia.
