Rather than converting my 10g qt tank to a nano reef, ive decided to get either a 29g oceanic bio cube or a 24g jbj nano cube. They are roughly the same price but which one comes with better equipment? i heard nanos come with better lighting but the bios come with better filtration? also, could i get a cherub angel in one of these?

yes you could do a cherub in either one neon.

IMO you should go with the bio cube just because it's bigger, and more filtration would be best IMO, as long as you don't want to keep anything that needs a ton of light.

really? i'm planning on getting one.

how much lighting bios have and is it true they have less? the nano comes with 2 36watts, no clue what the bio has. im planning on getting an anemone, mushrooms, starfish and others. How much light will i need?

don't get an anemone, they are difficult to care for. no anemones. what type of star will you get? if youre just getting some mushrooms, then about 30W of lighting is all you need. get the bio cube.

:OT: what are polyps and zoanthids?

anyone know how much lighting the bio has?

poylps are like little tiny anemones that colonize rocks, and are a type of coral, sort of. zoonathid is the scientific name for such polyps.
