we ordered a nano cube 12 and the next day the guy brought it back. the tank leaks where the glass and overflow meet.... figured a little silicon would fix that. well we sell them for 199 and my boss said he will sell it to me for 50... go buy or not? i heav a extra 5g laying around i was gunna turn it into a small nano with a few inverted and one 6line wrasse

ok well i just painted the back of my 5g.. Im gunna use a biowheel100 for filter... No heater for about a week but i dont plan on adding anything. I have 1/2cup used crushed coral from an established tank, and 4g cycled water.... No LR as I cant afford it. Im making my own caves out of limestone. And ill be using about 5lbs of fine granule black sand.... I was thinking of doing an Invert tank with one small clown for a few months to see how I like it, and then upgrading... What should I add

crushed coral is problems in saltwater but im sure it will be fine....and live rock is very important to the tank survival but surface area is surface area it should work out in some way or another...also bio wheels arnt the best for salt either but at that size it shoudlnt be such a big deal.

Ok, the 5gallon is gunna be my starting point. to see how i like it, Im using two big pieces of texas wholey rock.... is there anyway that rock will start to become LR? what should I add to this tank?

Well, unless you have some live rock in there to seed the limestone, you are gonna be talking about 4 months at least i would imagine before anything starts ti live on it...Helpfull tip when using limestone, drill lots of holes through it to allow water to pass through the rock...A lot of UK reefers have tried limestone in the past and found that drilling it helps a little...Also have to say that most of the people i know who have tried limestone have ended up taking it out...But, it is surface area for bacteria to build on, just takes soooooooo long for it to establish...

What do mean with regards to " what should i add to the tank bit mate "??
