Ok, I went to a really, really nice NSLFS, and they have cheaply priced "Nano Gobies". I realise I prolly won't have a SW tank for a long time, but they are red (maybe orange speckles ?) and are only about 3/4" long. The guy said that they would stay around an inch. Is this true?

Note: this was awhile ago. This guy seemed pretty intelligent, though he does mess up on adult sizes (He said that a killie would stay 1/2"), and other stores of the same chain said that their "rice paddy eels" (2-3" long) would stay that length. Of course, I doubted, and turns out they get 40".

:help: they're just too precious :D

Could be an orange spotted, which will grow to about 3 inches or a trimma which do stay at about an inch....

Look up the images for them, and see what matches...dont know of any otehr clown goby's that short with red or orange spots/speckles on them...
