I thought mgamer had some for sale. Did you ask him?
Neons will not work since it's like putting the rasboras in there. Stick to the shrimps and wait until some of the gouramis are for sale on AB. I've seen a couple on sale weeks ago but not right now.
 
They are quite small but I have no experience with them so I do not know if they will eat shrimps. Maybe only a few if you have plants to protect the shrimps. Not sure on price but my LFS has them for around $6, I think. AB is usually cheaper but shipping drives up the total price.
 
your LFS has them? if i can find any do you think i could paypal you the money for 1 or two? id really like a pair or trio but i doubt that would be possible. plz pm me sora
 
They have tons of fishes. Even rare ones. I just don't really buy fish from there since it's quite expensive and some of the young workers have no clue. I would have to see whenever I go in the store because they always get new/different livestock. It really depends if local hobbyists drop off some of their fish since they get their stock from hobbyists and farms. Just keep looking on AB or ask some of the venders here if they sell any. I'll keep a look out at my LFS also.

I just laughed pretty hard.

AAF why not just do inverts only? You'll have lots more breeding from the shrimp, how about you go to your LFS and tell us what YOU LIKE and can buy there. It's easier to just work your stockings off of what you can get easily and locally, unless you are in love with a certain fish.
