I'm going to start by saying that I never kept Riccia in this tank. And that's where our story begins.
Early Nov of 2011, I got a plant package. Started divying up the plants between tanks and such. And then it hit. The great work disaster of 2011.
I started working some extremely long hours. Never able to work on the tanks at all.
Once the smoke settled, one day while working on this particular tank, I finally noticed it. At that time is was about 1/2 the size in the pic. I thought kewl and decided to leave it.
Well here it is as of yesterday. The makings of my natural filtration (unintended). I actually plan on doing this with another tank using Star Moss.
