I have a few livebearers in my tank so I know I can pretty much guarentee that there are gonna be fry swimming around sooner or later.... however, i dont have any other tanks and a ten gallon wont support all of these babies once i get the stock up to where i want it..... so my question is what kind of fish would be a good one for natural fry control?

ALso..... I am looking for a good centerpiece fish like a betta, dwarf guorami, or possibly a bolivian ram. ALong with this fish i am either going to have 2 or 3 livebearers or a school of 5 or 6 neon tetras along with 2 ottos to make sure everything is nice and clean...

Does this sound good for a stocked tank as long as i do frequent ewater changes? (right now i do ten percent every day)

ALso... which of the centerpeice fish would be the best fry control??

Thank you in advance...

Zak

Gouramis will do the fry control, they will eat the new fry like baby bryne shrimp. But you will need to figure out how many fish your tank will support, you do not want to over stock your tank.

If you decide on the ram, he(or she) may find the neons to be quite delicious as well!

Other than that, the stocking plan looks good.

I've kept rams with cardinals before. The ram would chase the cardinals all over the tank, but never ate any of them.
