Natural versus artificial driftwood?

I'm getting ready to purchase some artificial tree stumps from Foster and Smith (http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+14013+18456&pcatid=18456) for the planted tank I'm setting up. However, isn't it kind of contradictory to be using artificial wood decorations when I'm using real plants?

What do you guys prefer? Real or artificial?

Natural wood really lends that completion of an ecosystem. If you want fake, you should buy a dvd of an aquarium and play it when you feel like fishkeeping.

Ouch. True though. I guess it has pros and cons of each, mostly the tannins. I vote real.

unless you are going to cover it in moss where you cant see any of it go with real.... all the fake wood looks cheap.
