Need 10 gallon setup advice

Hi everyone. I would like to setup my 10 gallon with something really different. Anyone have any ideas? It is going to be in my kitchen but I am not sure what to put in. I have a 46 gallon cichlid setup in the living room and want something unique for the little tank. Open to all of your suggestions, please help. Thanks.

hey.. im sure everyone will suggest a planted tank. Or you can try shell dwellers, calvus or something else.!?!!

I will tell you what we are doing
10 gallon tank. some plants, 8 cherry shrimp, snails, and a few endler fish.... with a HOB filter with a sponge on the intake for saftly of the shrimp and endler fry if that happens.

Yeah i have a ten gallon planted with amano shrimp, rudolf shrimp, and 2 male and 2 female guppies and a whole whack of fry (most likely gunna be feeders as i don't have room for mayn of them

Do you have another spare tank? If not, this one can also help as hospital or quarantine tank.

You can do a well planted tank (depending on the lighting) and have a nice school of cardinal tetras. They look like neons almost but I think they are prettier and are hardier. Then add some cherry shrimp or a snail or two and you will be good to go.
