need advice

there is a tiny looking starfish in my aquarium, i do not know if its good or bad. It is too small for me to get a good ic. What are some predetory starfish i should look out for?

It is either a micro brittle star or an asterina in most liklihood. The first one is fine. The second one is hit or miss around corals so just keep an eye on it.

suposedly, the blue asternias will eat sps polyps. but both blue and white ones dont eally have enough evidence or research to prove anything. if it makes you feel any better, i have hundreds in my reef and i have all types of corals.

Its an asterina i have lost it in the tank, should i take it out when i find it?

unless you know for sure that it is munching on anything, i would leave it be...

I have not seen it munch yet but i hope it does not or before it is too late to tell.

I have found them in my tank also but they do not seem to bother any corals, I have taken them out when I have found them just to be on the safe side. My wife wanted to keep them in them tank because she thought they were cute, but I said not way can't afford the risk for something cute!
