Need An ID

yea someone told me before that it was a saulosi. he is still an attack animal...i just dont know why he keeps attacking the yellow one..the yellow one is suppose to be the mean one lol

the saulosi males are blue and the females are yellow so he could be in mating aggression mode or he just wants to kill this fish because it wont leave his tank, hehehehe mbuna are like that..

Hi!
I'm not 100% sure, but I think both are males saulosis. The yellow one can be a male in disguise that is taking a female's coloration, trying to avoid the other male's harassment.
That's what I think, IMHO.

yeah efors i thought that as well til i looked at the head on the yellow one a little too pointy in my opinion..

sorry again man i am hitting non stop but it could be a saulosi male i was thinking of something else and if he is smaller than possibly could be a saulosi they all look alike with the striping..

talk about indecisiveness....

:D

I think the yellow is a crabro also. I think the blue one is a crabro blue. Both types are aggressive. They may be fighting for dominance, but I would bet the yellow is female and the blue is male, as males are usually more aggressive than females.
