need clarification on in fish cycling

started the treatments gonna follow directions to a t great info in old mans article i reaffirmed the method im going with and none the lill guys seem unhapp all are eating well and are active and not rubbing up on stuff . I will let you know how it turns out
 
I do not use salt, so the times I have had ick, I have found 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons of water to be enough.
Once, I did not even add salt, just raised the temp to 86, and the ick was gone.
 
During my fish-in cycle I started with 6 zebra danios in a 72 gal. tank and added no more than 3-4 like sized fish a week while doing 30-50% water changes on Sat. and Wed. Also had 3-4 nice sized plants to help with some of the waste. No fish losses as of yet. (well 2 moonlight gouramis but that was after the tank was cycled....not sure what happend to them.) Hi guys wanted to post my latest water parameters. this is before I do my wc. I just want to get an idea where I might be in the cycle. ok tank has been set up 11 days now and my water parameters are
8/03/09
Ph=7.8 Nitrite= 2.0ppm Nitrate =20 ppm Amonia = 0.0 ppm
 
This Hobby really makes me work on patience lol
