ok, my cory just laid a pile of eggs. what to do?? i hope i havent done wrong, but we removed the eggs from the tank and put them in a bowl circulated w/a airstone. i dont have any meth blue, but i do have maroxy by mardel which is for true fungal infections of fish and eggs. do i need to put this in and how much? what else do i need in the bowl? any substrate or plants? thanks

Sorry I didnt see your post before this, but anyway, it looks to me like you've done everything right. I've done it this way myself.
If the little guys havent hatched yet, they will in a day or two. After they hatch, take some flake food and crush it up into powder and give them some of that.
Keep the water clean (you can use the water from your main tank for replacement), and depending on the size of the bowl you are using, you may need to give them more room to grow in untill they are big enough for your aquarium.
Good Luck, and let us know how you make out.

ok, eggs havent hatched. i have have them in a little container since last tuesday night w/a airstone. also have been changing part of the water out about every day or two with tank water. they are a opaque yellow tan color. but i think they should have hatched by now, what do you think?

Well, I would give it a couple more days and see what happens, but if by then, they dont hatch, I think you better give up on this batch.
I don't know how you got them out of your main tank and into the bowl. Maybe you messed the up doing it. What I do is take a razor blade and gently scrape down the glass - they will stick to the blade, then you can put them in a bowl. Or if you are lucky enough to have them on plants, you can just clip off the leaf and throw it in a bowl.
Don't give up. If this batch doesn't hatch, try again with the next laying. Use the razor blade.
Let me know what happens.

well nothing happened with the cory eggs. it has been well over a week now. maybe we hurt them getting them out. used a credit card not a razor blade. we also got them out not even an hour after they were laid. so maybe they should have set longer. oh well maybe next time. :sad

Yeah, thats too bad. Sorry. However, it shouldn't be too long before you get some more. Mine usually had a batch of eggs every two weeks or so. Let me know when you are ready to try again.

Good Luck,
