WTB Need Female Jewel Cichlids ASAP - P/S 28409

After asking one of our petstore several times to place a custom order, they finally gave in & ordered a group of 6 jewels.

They arrived about a week ago ... well they are ALL nice 3" turq. males.


Instead of pressing our luck again and asking the petstore to order another group, we are specifically looking for a group of 6-10 female jewel cichlids.

We can offer up to $3.00 per fish, plus all shipping charges if shipping is needed.


PLEASE let us know if you have any available.

If you live within 1 hour of 28409, we will be willing to trade a few of the male cichlids for some females.

I don't have any, but I thought I would just throw out this suggestion for the next time you have any sort of specific request of your LFS who will in turn go to his wholesale sources: Wholesalers don't waste time sexing fish. Even further, they usually only stock the more attractive of the two sexes of any species, and their price lists don't even specify the sex of the fish. In your case you're probably better served inquiring in a local club's forum or on aquabid from vendors with excellent feedback scores.
