Need Help. 4 goldfish and a 5g tank.. :(

I would recommend 1 male betta, or 3 female bettas and some ottos or shrimp. Do not combine bettas and snails if you can avoid it. Snails require calcium supplements and hard water, and bettas prefer soft water.
Orange platies is also a good idea, very active and pretty fish. Or how about guppies? They come in beautiful, vivid colors, and if you get only males you can have a fairly large group of gorgeous little guys in your small tank.

We decided to get some Guppies and a female Betta (very beautiful purple one) they all get along well. My girlfriend saw them and had to get them. We got a really nice tank for a good price and we will be buying a larger tank for the goldfish in the next few weeks. They all seem to be doing fine and enjoying themselves still. Very active. We're changing the water twice a week for now and checking the chemical levels.
