Need Help. Dying Cory Cats!!

I would normally have concurred except Jagger (my Dempsey) never fiddles with any of the bottom dwellers, plus he is blind in one eye. He is good at getting the blood worms and flakes but anything else elusive he cant catch. I bought a few very tiny feeder fish guppies as a treat... lets just say the feeder fish are no longer really fry anymore and are part of the permanent collection.

The temp. in the tank might be the problem. Cories usually perfer temps. in the mid seventies range.

I guess that could be a very slim possibility. I have had a few other tanks prior to this one and have always kept a gaggle of cory cats and have almost always kept the tank between 78-82.
