Need Help ID Worm?

I am in the process of curing my live rock and found this "thing" in on of the hole. I have look to see if I can identify it myself but am having no luck. Can somebody help me out. It is dark brown about 1/4" in diameter and about 4" that is out of the hole (how long it is I have no idea). This is the best picture I could take. Any suggestion would help only with should I keep it or remove it before I place the rock in the tank.

From what I think I see, it looks like a peanut worm. Does it roll into itself like you would roll a sock? If so, that is what it is. Good for the tank.

ah thank you, much better... yeah, peanut worm is my guess as well

Yeah it does roll itself into itself. If that makes sense. So no problems leaving it in the rock???

yup, leave him in the tank. peanut worms are great detrivores. gotta love hitch hikers
