as you see in my other thread what kind of fish can i put in a 20 gl tank im thingking of schooling fish.

i'd follow tando's first bit of advice and get a school of tetras. alternatively, you could look at harlequin rasboras. you could keep 10 neons in a 20g. wouldn't recommend clown loaches...they get far too big for anything less than a 55g (and that's to start, as adults they need a much bigger tank). if you wanted loaches, you could probably get a trio of yoyos, or, better yet, 5 skunk loaches, as they stay relatively small. another good bottom feeder choice for a 20g would be a small school of, say 5, cory cats.

remember to stock up slowly! don't add all your fish at once.

just saw your other thread...avoid overstocking or risk a deathly crash in which all your fish will die. you don't want to be out your fish and the money you put into them. for your 20g, i'd go with the rasboras or SMALL tetras as mentioned by myself and tando. avoid goldfish and koi unless you have a pond! avoid clown loaches, as they get too large and are expensive and susceptible to diseases. you don't want to buy a fish that will get too large for you...assuming they survive and be out $7 a pop for 'em either.

again, if you want loaches, get small ones like skunk loaches...and cory cats are great bottom feeders, too.

every one knows what im gunna say but..............................german blue rams!!! :D

as for schooling fish green fire tetras or neon tetras are nice but neon tetras can catch neon tetra disease. hmm ::huh:

man microgeophagus ramirezi (german blue ram) should be king of the fisha world cuz they RULE

(sry guys just had to get that outa my system)
