pictus may try and eat the neons too depending on the size. i got two about 5 months ago and in the last 2 months one of mine has suddenly grown about 2 inches in lenght. they have a huge mouth too so i wouldnt risk it tbh.
probably have 5 and 5? to start with then depending on their size and tank conjestion could think about adding more.
