I had a problem with one of the tanks, 55GL which had 3 angels 1 bolivian, 1 pleco and 2Brue rams had what I though was parasites.
No new fish was introdused.
Had large water changes done, treated with Jungle labs parisite clear and internal meds from jungle.
Nothing helped.
Lost everything in the tank.
Someone told me that it looks like I have fungus in the tank. It was white/grey and cotton like on the plants.
I did 2 50% water changes and treated with jungle labs fungus clear.
after 2 weeks all looked ok.
Ph - 7.2
Amon- 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 10ppm
Temp - 82

I added 1 quater size angel, all is fine.
2 days later added 2 more
they died over night, but the first angel still lives
I though maybe something was wrong with the 2 that i added, so I got 2 more from a differet place
3 hrs later they are doing well (see photo, I know not the greatest) look at the tail if you can see it.

Waht do you think, 25% water changes have been done evryday.

parasites rarely kill the host quickly and usually some sort of Sx will show.

what Sx(symptoms) did you notice.

keep in mind that angels from LFS are usually seconds and often have health issues. it is not uncommon for young angel to perish with no visible signs of illness.

Here is what I see, they looked in perfect shape untill, I put them in the tank.
One is doing great, active and eating.
The rest after several hrs started having as the photo hardly shows tail rot and white/grey coating on the tips and become not active. After a while they look like they are cought in the spider web.
I had that in the tank on my plants when all the fish expired several weeks a go.
Can it be fungus, or that doesn't spead as fast?
We are talking several hrs here.

I would suspect something in the water.

fin rot/tail rot can often be attributed to conditions in the water.
if you are doing 25% daily water changes I would look there.
is the source water well or municipal?

any water conditioners added? water softeners?

I live in the apt., we had some plumbing work in the building will check the water, I use Prime for treatment.

There is one thing, I have another tank with no problems.
It can't be the water, has to be something in the tank.
One fish in the tank is doing well, has no problems.
