NEED HELP WITH ANGELS

I had 2 good sized (over 2 1/2 inch body) angels in a 20 gallon high tank. When I rearranged the tank during a cleaning I put in a piece of slate against the side of the tank. One of the angels went back behind the slate and got stuck and of course, sadly, died.
I don't want to leave the tank with a single angel and nothing else, and I really don't want to spend $35+ for a similar sized angel that might be much older and die of old age in a month or two.
Can I safely put in 2 quarter (25cent) size angels in the tank with the remaining larger angel ?

Thanks for you input and help

I would find other fish to add to your tank. A 20 gal high is just not enough free swimming room for full grown angels...one, let alone two.

yeah, i wouldn't really add anything else. while the angel might "miss" his old buddy, he doesn't need to have company in there.

just answer his question, dont rag on him because he made a mistake, just tell him if he can put 2 angels that are one and a half inches long with a full grown angel

doesn't sound like anyone is 'ragging' on him/herthe general concensus is No...

btw the angel already in there is NOT full grown at 2 1/2", this angel is a young adult.

angels can live over 10 years in a properly set up tank. and their body size less the fins is capable of twice that size.
generally a 20 is considered the minimum tank size for a breeding pair of angels.
many fish keepers would keep the pair in a larger tank of course.

a 20 would be a minimum size for a single in a community set up.

i know there not full grown, but i just get angry when people, tell me that im doing somthing rong, people that ask the questions

Get ya a couple small ones, then keep your eye out for a 55. You'll thank us later. Angel pairs( just 1 pair) are awesome in a community 55. Stay away from to many plants and decor with angels. They take up room.

see thats a good answer
