Need help with conversion!

it looks about right to me. and that would also throw your theory on it being the fe out the window because that is a pretty low number

I agree but there is still something in the water making it pearl. I assure you it is not from the water change.

I wonder if the fact I don't have co2running it is cause me problems.

I am going to check as well to see if my nitrates are bottoming out again. Even though as with the iron there is very little nitrate in the water.

Do you have a co2 system with those plants because everything is so green?

my 55 has co2 and is high tech
my 29 has no co2 and very lightly dosed with ferts

i assure you that the pearling with water changes is very common. and i'm sure that your pearling has everything to do with the water change. it happens in my 29.

The only time I see pearling is after a water change.High tech, low tech and no tech.
Well,maybe not no tech. :D

Is this dosage to high for a 29 with lights on 8 hours, no co2, and 55 watt cpf?

10.8 ppm nitrate
5.4 ppm potassium
2 ppm phosphate
0.4 ppm iron

The plants are growing very slow and no algae. I am dosing the EI method and doing 50% water changes.

You are right I let a glass of water from the same water source out for a couple of hours and there were bubbles all over the sides. So I guess it has more stored gas than I thought.

I was kind of hoping I was going to find something in the water. At least I got to the bottom of it though.
