what other fish will go great with guppy and wont eat them

Oh please don't quote me!

BUT I think I recall correctly that Cory Cats are fairly safe w/ the eggs and I believe "some" plecos will leave the eggs alone as well, but not all. Of course they will leave the fry alone once free-swimming. As for fish, not sure...but I would start with researching the vegetarians of the fish world!

Guppies? Eggs???

We have 2 very peaceful and happy community tanks with guppies, mollies, neon tetras, glowlight tetras, peppered corys and white cloud minnows.

Invest in a breeding net/box and put any fry that happen to be produced into it until they big enough to look like fish and not a quick snack.

GOD I was SO tired last night!!!!
1st, Guppies don't lay ANYTHING!:duh:

2nd, I thought I read something about frys in there... I'm sorry I was way too tired. :thud:

Basicially, most community fish do well w/ guppys (in fact b/c guppies are so darn hyper they often hurass other a bit). However, their flowing fins are a red cape to a bull for fin-nippers (i.e. Serpea tetras, tiber Barbs, etc.) Just don't put any carnivore/omnivore over 6"+ in there w/out first researching or asking us if in doubt! Next time I will actually be coherent - I PROMISE!!! :coffee:

Doh! :o
