well i have two 30s and a 20 to work with here and i just dont know what to stock them with. i know i want to put some shellys in one of them and make a community. i also have a 55gal and the stocking just sucks but i would prefer no shellys or small cichlids. the set up on them is awesome i just want different stocking please help.

i have this love of asian loach tanks...they are fun to watch absolutely hysterical,,easy to keep....and for the most part relatively inexpensive.
if that is a 20 long tank it would be ideal....for a small asian set up...
6-8 kuhli or black loaches, 6-8 dwarf loaches, 4 yoyo's , 4-6 harlequin rasboras, 1 male betta,
run a hob filter that is for a 50 gal tank....and a whisper 40 air pump for a good stream of air bubbles....lots of driftwood,tons/ lots of plants , at least 1/2 tank play sand sub..other half can be tiny river pebbles with smooth edges, well anyway that is my prejudice....if u have never had loaches u r in for a fun time..once they get settled in they are down right comical and u they play all the time....couple of marimo balls for them to lounge on...or if you sqeeze the water out fo the balls each morning...the marimo balls float and the loaches at times will play with them like they are beach balls...

thats pretty cool i might put some yoyos in my 30 and maybe some Kuhli
im a little interested in putting some cool cichlids in my other 30 and my two 10 gals
and suggestions

You might think about getting a bigger tank for those baby convicts- they like room when they get big!

tiny goldies, (pearscales are cute!!! :D) mollies, guppies, pea puffers, or an african frog
