Hi everyone, need some help here. Been on other sites and no one seems to help. Have a three year old angel who I've been told has developed pop eye. I've treated him with two doses of meds given by pet store. Eye looks a lot better, but now he is hanging out on his side, bad eye up and not eating. Need some help on what to do...... can't understand why he looks better but is acting worse............don't want to lose him he's my favorite fish. No one else in my tank is sick and I have about nine fish in the tank... someone please help!

last time i medicated was about three or four days ago, i used E.M. tablets that contain erthromycin which i got from the pet store and then i used fungus clear that contained a few different ingredients that i happened to have. That one specifically said for use in treating pop eye. Should I put more med in?

have not done water change yet, did do one before meds....replaced carbon right before even though people have informed me to take it out completely. Little skeptically because i was treating the whole tank....it's a fifty five gallon. any reason that you can think of why he would be keeping his eye to the top? Is he trying to maybe remove the fungus himself? I did go in the tank yesturday and swab off some off the growth with a cotton swab. That was some advice I had gotten from a different forum chat.....
