Need some MTS snails.

Not sure if this is where this thread should go. I've been wanting to get some MTS for my planted tank for a while now. I only have 1 LFS here in town that has them in their tanks. They usually bleach the tanks to kill the MTS yet I've asked 2 different workers at different times and they refuse to give them or sell them to me.

I was wondering if anyone has some MTS they would be willing to ship me a number of them. I am more then willing to pay for shipping and handling charges through like PayPal. Just sucks the LFS refuses to give them to someone who knows exactly what they are and what they do, yet they will kill them regularly. Anyway please PM me if you are willing and I'll get my address to ya.

weird. my LFS refuses to let me pay for them, but will give them to me if they have some in there.
i suggest ebay. usually someone will be selling a good amount of them.
why do you want this kind of snail, just to aerate your substrate?
 
I wish that were the case. Yeah I have read they are great for aerating the substrate. I swear when I asked the lady she like freaked on me. "You don't want those." I said of course I do. I know exactly what they are and what they do. "We used to sell them but had problems so we don't give them out anymore. We just bleach the tanks to get rid of them." Ok fine, but I'm telling you I have researched them and still want them.

Then of course when I tell her I want them for substrate aeration in my planted tank she tells me they will eat up all my plants. At that point I just gave up as it was blatantly obvious all she REALLY knew about them was that they are a neusance and must be killed with bleach.

Truly an amazing conversation it was. I was literally speechless at how ignorant she was.
