Need suggestions for changing water with a nursery box in the tank.

I have a couple of these breeders basket thingys and I absolutely hate them. I find that the fry get stuck between the plastic parts and the netting--usually the bottom corners--and then they end up dieing. Thus, I think they're HORRIBLE. Am I the only one that has this problem?

Me too. I tried one for about two days, and gave it up. Flimsy, hard to keep clean, and dangerous for the fry.

Cool, that's quite the set up 8) Whatever you do, don't forget that they are in there when you do a water change. Once I started to drain the water and looked over and the fry were just barely covered with water. :duh:

Since then I use the container method as well, put a little water into a clean container and then put the whole unit in there.

Pretty guppies!

Yes, I'm really happy with it for the price. I'm not using any of the inside pieces though. I just setup the box, hooked an airpump to it and scooped fry into it.

As for forgetting about them when I change the water lol, that sounds just like something I might do:22_yikes: !! I'll try not to though!

One good thing about guppies, you'll always have more!
