NEED TINY SNAILS HELP!!!!

Hi Chazsgirl! Welcome to AC.

What are you in such desperate need of snails for? Snails by themselves aren't a complete solution to any problem. They can help some with algae, and eat some leftover food, and some varieties are good at aerating the soil. However, they can get out of hand and overpopulate the tank if it isn't stable and healthy.

If you give us an idea of what problems you're having, we might have a solution to the problem rather than introducing another species, with its own needs and issues, to the tank.

you need to be feeding them more than just snails. krill, market shrimp, clams, mussels, brine shrimp (though not a lot of this) and blood worms are good places to start. everything must be raw, but frozen is ok; you just need to make sure you thaw it out. go check out the brackish section or head over to thepufferforum.com. lots of good info on how to feed picky puffers

you can pick up snails from most lfs. ask for their pest snails and a lot of times, they will give them to you for free

also, what size tank are these guys in?

HI, I am new to this site and am in a huge need of tons(200+) of small snails, if anyone has any I would very much appriciate it! please let me know if anyone would like to get rid of their pesky snails.

Ramshorn snails and others of that size would be perfect

One way to get a lot of pond snails is to go to any LFS and buy some bushy plants like hornwort or moneywort. Don't rinse the plants just put them in a small aquarium by themselves. You will have tons of pond snails.

hi were about are you?? am in the UK and have loads of ramshorns and MTS snails.

I usually go to petsmart, because they give them for free, but I only have 1 around me and I have gotton most of theirs already. The puffers & other aqua life eat- frozen blood worms, krill (although not a favorite) brine shrimp (both live & frozen) & love snails! I want to wear their teeth down like I am supposed to & also I think the snails are cute(kinda weird since i feed them to fish, but whatever! lol..).
