I have a 29 gallon tank with 1 dwarf gourami, 6 zebra danios, 2 cories and an oto, What else can you suggest? I am looking for common fish, i shop at the petsmart about 25 miles away. So nothing to crazy or expensive, but some color would be nice, the tank is kinda dull.
I also have a20 long with 4 cories, 2 platies and a male swordtail. What suggestions do you have for this tank??

Any Imput is greatly appreciated!!! :idea2:

Red and yellow platies (I think they're commonly called 'Sunset' platies). A few platies, say 2 males and 4 females would look really nice.

There's a lot of varieties out there so give them a good look before you buy, otherwise you'll end up with too many platies, lol. Don't worry about them breeding too much; the fry don't last long in community tanks IMO if you don't look after them.

Oh, I also suggest hi-fin calico platies....they're yellow with red finage and have black spots, with that sharp looking hi-fin...gorgeous little fish.

Or you could go with a small school of cardinal tetras....I'm not sure if those are out of the price range at $2 a fish on average...(because you'll want about 12 for the full effect in a 29g....

IMO, you should up your cories and oto amounts (at least so that you have 3 each) to start with. Sorry, I have no color recommendations ( I think your stocking looks great now :) ). Perhaps you should consider planting it up instead of more fish?
