I need just an old glass/acrylic tank, for a pair of gerbils. Without a lid is fine. Has to be at least ten gallons, doesnt matter if it has water residue, or marks on it, dont need to be perfect shape.
Shelly,
If you have a Wal-Mart or PetSmart or something like that nearby, you can pick up a new 10 gallon (tank only) for $8-9, so that would probably just be easiest (and close to cheapest) for you, I would think!
Around here everything is so expensive. The starter ten gallon kits are usually 20$ and Ive asked on here and other places and they say 20$ , but at my walmart they have the ten gallon starter kit, with nothing special and maybe a little less supplies for 50$.
I think everyone here is talking about a bare tank, not a starter kit with any goodies. It's a shame you can't find anywhere nearby to get one, because the prices everyone is quoting are accurate. If you, or someone you know, were coming to STL anytime soon, I have a 20long you can have. Fine for rodents, because it leaks, and I don't feel like resealing it.

ps: Is there a PetSmart in Peoria?
