OK, here it is:
1/4 cup of butter (do NOT substitute with anything else!)
1 cup sugar (it is better if you use unrefined like Rapadura or Sucaunat, but if you do not have do then use white sugar)
1 egg
3 very ripe bananas
1 1/2 cups of flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
Mash the bananas using a fork until well mashed, put aside.
Cream together butter, sugar and egg.
Blend bananas in with butter mixture.
In a separate bowl mix together Flour, salt, and baking soda until well incorporated
Then, without over mixing, gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture.
Bake in a greased (with butter NOT a cooking spray) bread pan at 350 for 50 t0 55 minutes
or if you want muffins
Bake in a greased (with butter not a cooking spray) muffin pan at 350 for 22 to 24 minutes
The secret is to use butter, that is what makes it tastes so good.
I use a handful of chocolate chips so that my kids will eat them, if I add chocolate chips then I reduce the sugar by a 1/4 cup!
Enjoy!
I think he's saying banana pudding is better than banana nut bread, either that or you should make banana pudding instead. Banana pudding requires just as many ingredients if not more, if you're gonna make the meringue. Banana pudding is nothing without meringue....mmmm....
