Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had any pointers on what kind of plants may thrive in my tank. Its fully planted now, but my Gourami has eaten all the leaves off the moneywort, so they look like green twigs standing in little bunches. My java moss hasn't really grown. It looks the same as 3 months ago. My dwarf grass bunches in the foreground lost all their leaves and is now starting to grow back green when I thought it was toast. I have some large plants in the back whose tall, largest leaves have yellowed and begun to fall apart, but there are new leaves growning well at the bottom to replace them.
But. my tank looks sparse and I would like to fill in more with low upkeep plants. I have 2 watts per gallon lighting. No Co2, I tired commercil products and was not impressed, tried DIY and it did not work well, actually it was just a messy experiment that killed a few fish and contributed to a algae outbreak.
Currently using plant fert tabs on large plants, and dosing with Flourish weekly at water change time.
AAny suggestions would be appriciated. Thanks.
Walker.
