Last year for you guys is an understatement! That was horrible.
The weather here has been blasting hot for the last few weeks, though it's cooling down a little finally. Not for long, I hear. We had a fire last week, but it was under control in a few days. No major damage, it was just out of the residential area, thank god. The Okanagan is a beautiful area. Nice place to live.

yeah it was pretty terrible last year. I was in between the 3 largest fires too. Kelowna, barriar, and Cherryville fires encircled my home, rather scary, but they never came close enough to damage anything, but all it takes is a change in the wind...

going back to the post, you said that you didn't have any live food. two things, either try mosquito larve or just use frozen food to try and remove the blockage if the fish will not accept the pea.

Oh, they inhaled the peas, that's for sure. I feed peas occasionally, so they knew what was coming. I have frozen bloodworms that I feed every few days, too. Anyway, I'll see how the little guy is tomorrow. Thanks again for the help, and for the chat. (Thank goodness you ended up safe from those fires!) Nice to talk to someone from 'home'.
