Hi, Are there any Neon Rainbowfish breeders in this
forum? I'm looking to stock my 55g. with them. Any
suggestions appreciated!!
Thanks!!
TJ

Thanks RTR --good article.

I moved to Orlando from Baltimore 5mo. ago, so its
funny that you are from MD! As I was cycling the tank,
I discovered two neon rainbow babies! But didn't know
what they were for several months --figure they came
from a bunch of anacharis I got at a LFS here. Now I'm
so happy with their colors that I would like to fill the tank
with some good quality stock and let them breed to
their hearts content!

I too have been in the hobby for some time and started
out with community tanks, but for this one, I've only got
a nice group of juli cories and the two miracle babies.
So I'd love to get a mop of neon rainbows --do you
have any breeding now? The LFS's here leave much
to be desired, so I'd rather find a good breeder.
I'd be happy to pay postage when weather
permits.
Thanks again,
TJ

Yes, I have some fry coming up, but I'm building my stocks up to move them from their current small tank (40-long) back to one of the big tanks, so I'm holding them all, sorry.

If you think Baltimore stores are not much, you have not been out to Randallstown yet. Folks drive there from all along the Mid-Atlantic Coast. One of the best fish stores in the world - The Aquarium Center, try it - but leave the plastic and checkbook at home. It is a dangerous place for me.

RTR, I moved from Baltimore to Orlando, so I was refering to
Orlando area LFS --I'm very familiar with the Aquarium Center
and am still paying the Cards off!!!LOL!! I suppose that is why
I am disappointed with the LFS here, AC sets a high standard.

No problem on the Neons, I'll look for some mail order.
Thanks anyway,
TJ

OOPS! I reversed your move - but I have seen very few stores anywhere that can be compared to AC, they set the bar too high for everybody else - or maybe everybody else does not try hard enough - if they can do this, why can't others?
