In my 29g as of now I have:
2 neon tetra
4 black neon tetra
1 black skirt tetra
2 molly fry
1 pleco
1 cory

My question is how many more neon tetra could i fit in my tank?

I really just want it to be a very colorful easy to care for tank and i love neon tetra!!
Thanks

I would get 4 more Neon Tetras, they like being in groups of 6 because they are a schooling fish. Cories are also schooling fish, so get at least 5 more of them. Same goes for the Black skirt Tetra. Better yet, I would take back the Black skirt tetra and max out the Neon school with a total of 10. What type of pleco is that?

Yea i know all of them need to be in schools, but ha they are so old the black skirt tetra has been around for about 8 years and the neons 4 years. they all use to be in schools but all the other died off and they have been real good.
Anyways yeah i def plan on gettin on cories i just learned today they are a schooling fish, learned something new.

So you say i could probably get another 10 neon? To make a total of 12?? Could i possibly get anymore...or just hold tight with that...

That depends on your routine maintenance the more water changes you do the more you can over stock your tank. with in reason

I'd pitch the mollies, and the pleco if it's a common. You can up both your neon schools to about 7, and add 4 more cories. This would max out your tank.

EDIT: pitch means re-home not flush! ;)

Here is a picture of the pleco.
I have no idea what kind he is. I do know that he is full grown.

Can you idenitfy it for me??

I have a peppered cory.

I do roughly 45-50% water change weekly.
