will nerites eat bba or cyano?

they will eat cyano before bba, though will eat both once biofilm algaes are depleted. BBA is not a "palatable" algae because of the cellulose structure. Manual removal is your best bet. Amano shrimp are next best, and juvenile sae. Nerites closely after. Think of bba as uncooked spaghetti vs. the pudding like consistency of biofilm algaes, they will eat what is easiest first.
