Great story and great set up. you have done a fantastic job and in my opinion it was worth waiting and planning all that time.
I have a lone Triportheus Angulatus in my 75g planted aquarium, its like a giant hatchet fish and it is somewhat similar to marine fish in shape. This fish makes a wonderful show piece among all of the black neons and rainbowfish, If you could locate some of these guys they would make a very eye catching south american fish for your display.
