i have had my tank for about a month and a half. Everything was fine untilli added my fish and rock. Green hairs and slimy stuff started showing up, wich i asked you guys what it was and you all said it was normal for a new tank to do some stuff to it. well i kinda got that under controle.

now i have little white dots showing up on my fish and on the side of the tank.
can any one tell me what it is or how to get rid of it

thanks
Gordon

What kind of fish? Are the dots on the fish that same as the ones on the side of the tank? Do they move? Are they attached to the fish?

they are little white spots. They don't move. they look like the same on both the tank and the fish. a domino dimesal and a blue and yellow tail demisal.
they look like they are attached

Well, if they are attached to the fish, they probably are not the same. The dots on the glass are probably a stony tube worm that's growing (think tiny feather duster with a hard stone tube). The dots on the fish are most likely marine ich, and will need to be treated--a hospital tank would be ideal, allowing you to treat with lowered salinity and increased temp.
