Platies will beg for food and are always hungry, and also snack on algae. IMHO tetras are too cramped in a 15g.

honestly this is some good info. even though tetras are small they really need some room to strech their legs.

The rams need to be with other peaceful fish. They can dish it out but they can't take it...lol...

I have the rams in with two male neon dwarf gourami...they get along fine with them and the otocinlus I also have in their tank. I temporarily put one in with a female betta once....the ram didn't like that at all...the betta pestered her and she got a bit stressed. Luckily I didn't have to leave her there for too long.

I don't know if tiger barbs would be good company for blue rams if they're as aggressive as I keep reading.
