Got my new 20 gallon cycled and ready to go..but hmm what to put in it??
I seen some dwarf gouramis at the petstore today -- the ones with the stripes -- STUNNING! I love them! But I know they can be agressive so I would rather not get stuck with mean fish..with no extra tank for them! So I guess their out of the question, unless somebody can tell me otherwise. I like color, like the gouramis, but if you have a suggestion on a more silver colored fish, and their look can make up for it, their OK too. I can have a few of the same species or some mixed, im up for whatever! But I am getting .. maybe around 5 corys, I know that. Im not big fans of little tiny barb/tetra school fish, I like bigger, larger bodied fish, but I would like to hear all suggestions!
Also If I got a dwarf african frog or 2, I would like them to be compatible with the frogs! Ill include some pics -- first 2 are without flash, and last 2 are with flash, pics dont really do it justice color wise, but it can give you an idea!
Suggestions?
Thank youuu!

K ill check them out, what kind would you suggest? Im sure my petstore has lots of different kinds! I like the brightest they come -- oranges, reds, blues, anything! COLOR COLOR COLOR!! yay lol

Oh and did anybody notice how even in the pics without flash-- you can actually see the background without it being dull/black =D =D

My dwarf Gs are very placid fish. My mollys are the mean ones in my tank and they are the biggest.

Love your driftwood:)

Hm I think all gouramis must have different temperments! How many do you have in your tank, like...what is your combo on males and females?

red velvets, pineapple, black, neon, green, red, tuxedo, lyre, and marigolds are all very colorful swordtails

I have had dwarf gouramis living in a tank with dalmation mollies and moons. They got along great! And an african dwarf frog too. Everyone was fine. But don't put a betta with the gouramis. My LFS said it would be ok, but I soon found out otherwise. (moons come in a lot of colors too)
