If you needed to learn the trade who would you let teach you?
I couldnt work any other store around here to small.Its sad rich wont commit to a bigger nice store he is the only guy in town who would be in the black the first year open:rolleyes:
Phil is cool so is martin they are the ones who should do a store down town.What do you think of cris in ramsey.:mad: what a waste of a loan/grant.Have you seen the harmar pet shop lately WOW every tank is a planted show or full blown reef all small but nice all 70 tanks.
 
have not been to Harmar in a long time, last time i was there they only had 3 or 4 fish in their 10 tanks...lol

Rich by far has the best store in the state, for now...lol

ramsey store, what a joke! (they buy from one of the wholesalers I do)

actualy there is not a store I know of that I would shop at, they are all way over priced! the net offers alot better prices and better service then most pet stores, pathetic it is, but it is the truth :(
the problem I see is the people who open stores do it for the hobby, then get caught up in the money!
 
I would like to do a store with phil.Let my wife do the bussness end.Uptown maybe?I think a few guys should run a fish coop type store anyone is welcome to sell fish out of our tanks retail/internet for a set % open real limited hours.Not for money for fun and to pay a bills on a fish room.
Is rich watching cause I got the %50 this week.

it always seemed to me that Rich would not give large discounts to people who were new for a couple months or so. wanted to make sure your not a fly by night peoples...lol

uptown is a waste of an area....Phil could not run a store...proof is in the store he ran before. plus Phil has no $$ to get a store going! lol!
 
I just need phil for his fish knowlage and salesmanship.
Phil didnt pay the bills or make the right purchaces at the right prices to nicey nicey to be the sole owner.
But he still has most his store at home still.Between us we can fill the store from the start with glass equip and fish.
Phil would bring in customers with him.
 
sad to say I'm just like phil only younger.

Rich is warming up to me starting to get a better deal.Besides I'm the only guy who hasent sold a customer a incompatible fish yet.No angery customers also I dont touch the food or meds and do everything the "rich way" nobody else does but I figure its his store and his fish and he knows better than I.
